Mixing

I have decided to mix business with pleasure. But from reading other blogs, People don't really say very much, but they like to add photos, jokes, etc. I still don't really know what parameters I have to follow, so I will do pretty much my own thing. But I need to promote my website also, I have so much to sell there, and it's easy to access it. How am I doing so far? What would you suggest I sell on my blog? What are you looking for to buy?
