For three weeks it was raining, I couldn't go cycling. Cycling is important for me for my health, otherwise my body does what it wants. And this is how I control it, and train it. I was a keen marathoner, and I was super fit. Then, I got a job working nightshift twelve hours a day, seven days a week. After five years of that, it was my downfall because I got thrombosis in my leg. That also led to me having a stroke the next year of stopping that. I received it quite lightly, but alas, I can't run anymore. I loved coming home from work, going for a ten km run. Have a shower, and just relax for the evening. And I slept much better. So, since I need to excercise, I bought a ountain bicycle. And that is also fun, riding around in the neighborhood bush. Anyway, I couldn't cycle the last three weeks, so I put on weight. Horrors!! But I will be back on track again. Soon.
