Wow!

Wow, it's the last day of the year. Reminiscing about the past year, it was a blast. I was working at the beginning, I actually worked right through the festive season. But the drama started in the middle of the year when the recession hits us hard. Suddenly, with no indication, I found myself without work. That really made me angry, I was spitting fire. I have debt to pay, and the rent, and my family is forever hungry. And, I was working on a plan to get rid of my debt, and it was going well, I already managed to finish some of it. I am a permanent employee at a company who does work on site at different factories and mines. And because I wasn't one of the bosses favorites, they put me on short time. That means, they will phone me if and when they have work for me. In the last six months, I had work at the workshop for only two weeks, that's all. I still can't believe the incompetence of their managerial staff, couldn't they predict the signs of the times? Couldn't they adapt to what is happening in the world so that other people don't get hurt? I think they just don't care, as long as they can go home with their overrated, undeserved paychecks. Then I decided, it's time for me for a radical change. I'm going to get out of this corrupt corporate system. I taught myself new skills, created my own website, and persistently advertised my website and all those items I am selling. I am my own boss now, the next year looks great, I am confident I'm going to make it big time. One thing I learnt in life: people need to adapt to what is happening in the world. And they need to learn to change in a moment's notice if need be. And you do what it takes to get back on track with your life. Life is unfair, but there's no point in crying about it. Just do what you must do to support your family. I think patience and perseverence is going to be the key words for the next year. It always was since the beginning of time. Have an absolutely marvelous year next year.
