Question: Why did I design my website so plain and simple?

First, I could not find a template to suit what I had in mind for the design of my website. I know I won't win any awards for web design, but I'm not out to win any awards. My website is also an extention of my personality. Plain, simple, and with the desire to help others make a better life for themselves. And I dislike using templates although with my next website, I probably will have to. I'll cross that bridge when I get to it. But there's a twist in it. For example, when in the "Welcome" page, simply click on "Welcome" and then you have access to the rest of the website. The idea of making it simple so that people can easily find what they want, without running around in circles. It gets frustrating not finding what you want even with a search engine. So, have a look around, it's just as good as you are looking around in my home, I spent a month, day and night, to complete this website. But best of all, I like what I did. Many people would hire a web designer to do the work for them at an exhorbitant price. But I designed and planned this website. It doesn't matter to me if the professionals like it or not. The point is: can you find what you are looking for? Did you find it easy to navigate around in it? And can I rely on you to become a customer?

Thank you
